godaddy aftermarket refund??

    hello,

    recently i managed to get a nice domain Valid PR3 from godaddy aftermarket (Tdnam).!@ 5$...was very much excilted:cool: but after 2 days or so i got a refund from godaddy??:confused: when i asked its support system it says

    what does it mean? can I now get back that domain in anyway:eek:
    will appreciate any help from dp member

    Maybe script error when your purchasing their domain...Three day ago i got error when trying to buy bulk domain from tdnam..But one domain is missing..After i sent support ticket they refund my money..

    I would guess that the previous owner renewed the domain after you purchased it.

    Peter is correct. When you buy expired names on TDNAM, there is a chance you won't get it if the original owner renews the name in time. This doesn't happen a lot. I've bought around 40 names there, and had this happen 3 times.

    After you win a name, check the "Won" list in the menu to see when the release date is.

    No, the previous owner is notified about the domain expiring only and not notified about the domain being sold on TDNAM but it is possible for the previous owner to watch TDNAM and renew the domain after seeing it purchased.

    yes, the only way it can be gone once you have boought it from Tdnam is when the owner has renewed it, good luck next time:)
