hello all, I have a windows hosting account with godaddy, which has been suspended due to copyright issues (they say I have some copy righted stuff on my site) I have removed the stuff, and emailed them....this is the reply I got from them... --------------------------------------… Dear *******, Thank you for your response to the Copyright Department. In order to reactivate the site in question we will need you to provide the following information in a single email response: A. An electronic signature. (This can be a scanned copy of your physical signature, or as simple as typing your full name.) B. Identification of the material in question. C. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the material has either been removed or will promptly be removed. Once we receive this information we will be more than willing to reactivate your website. You don't need to worry, just give them what you're asking for and they will remove your suspension (hopefully). Next time in your e-mails try to be a bit more formal and professional LMAO, AHAH: Nice one
I have removed the material (files only) immediately, after that my hosting panel became inaccessible, so couldn't delete database table and other stuff.... is there any good host that doesnt care about copyrighted stuff?
This is pretty standard for most web hosting companies these days as they all try in some way to comply with the DMCA (Digital Millenium Copyright Act). I would think you would be hard pressed to find a decent web host that didn't care about copyrighted material and if you did find one chances are they would one of the here today gone tomorrow types. Probably better to do as they ask and then once your account has been restored/reactivated remove the material in question.
This post is about copyrights problem, so when I find some one steel my web content I can send a email to web host provider, then they will delete my contents from their server, right?
honestly, I'm glad that you're catched some people are working hard and own the copyright and some s*****s steal and davidyxf, yeah if the hosting company is respectable and u can proof that u're the owner go ahead

If it is truly copyrighted, just do the right thing and admit guilt. Do you think Godaddy cares about you ?
