You can probably do that if you can afford to lose the domain. Nowadays lots of companies tend to cut off further contact with the person if they're sworn at for any reason, so doing that might not be a good idea if it's not worth the loss. But then, one does what one does under the circumstances.
Yes I know, That could seem a normal reaction at that time but I had to constrain myself because of both my image that I want to project and because I have lots of domains with them. I can't afford to do anything like this.
best thing to do is resolve stuff like this on the phone with a level 2 or 3 support person. not through email. if you remain calm and have all your info. in order you can usually work this out, especially if you are a long time customer or have many domains hosted/registered through the company. btw: this can happen with ANY registrars, not just GD. bottom line is, if you have an unsecure script running on a server then its partially your fault. if your account was hacked or spoofed thats another story, but leaving scripts running on the net and not putting security in place you leave yourself open to stuff like this happening. its happened to most of us and its no fun, but a lesson learned.
Yeah, I'm not sure if a company would even allow that kind of action. That does seem pretty intense and out of the norm for established, well-known businesses.
