    Dear Moderators,

I’m trying to list my domain names for sale and promote them in external auctions (GoDaddy, Sedo, etc.). I want to make sure I’m posting in the correct section. When I tried in other areas, I was prompted to link a PayPal account, but I couldn’t find an option to do that in my account settings.

    Could you please clarify:

      • Am I required to upgrade to a Premium Membership in order to post domains for sale?
      • If so, what’s the correct process to purchase and activate that membership?
I’ve searched the forums and help pages but couldn’t find a clear answer. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Thank you for your time and help! :)

Hi, you do need to be either a premium member (ie you pay) or to be established (ie you participate in the forums and earn likes). I'm not sure, but I suspect the paypal link isn't visible until you've done one of those.

Then, to sell your domains here, it needs to be the primary place it's listed as sales are binding.

DP's active user base has dwindled to perhaps a hundred daily posters. With such a small community, how are new members supposed to gain traction and earn likes? The forum's system feels outdated. When it had millions of views, the model worked, but now it's struggling to stay relevant. It's time for a change, don't you agree?

I don't get to see the big picture but I do know that last week Shawn spent hours fixing the servers after something went wrong. There will come a time when the dollars don't make sense and this disappears like many forums have. The internet is a very different place to 2004.
