Godaddy is issuing plenty of cheap coupon codes for new .com registrations these days but codes which are less than 2 $ work for only US and Canada. I want to register as many cheap domains as possible. Is there a work around to make these codes work outside US & Canada? I have tried changing my address and adding a US address but it rejects my payment method probably because it can detect that my VISA card was issued outside USA.
I like GD's promo codes and sometimes will go to snap up bargains for my personal use though we are competitors in some sense. Btw, newbie191, do you think it will solve your problem if I write Christine or Richard on LinkedIn?
It is not good to try such tricks with GoDaddy because they will ban your account if you provide fake details. Therefore just use a code that work for international customers or wait until they release such a $1 code which can redeemed by international customers too.
You can try Googling for cheap domains, domain coupons and similar keywords. See the sponsored ads at the top. GoDaddy often advertises cheap deals there. That's how I use it.
