god is somewhere in our inside, if you try to find it yourself then you can meet him easily by doing good deeds in your life otherwise you can keep finding him all around the world I do believe on god.
LOL, Verry Funny Yeah I believe in something. I dont like the G-word though. I think it puts to much of a preconception on the Divine.
No, Noone has managed to prove that he exists to me yet. (and the burden of proof IS on the christian to prove it) I can't tell you that there is a blue mouse in my garden right now and expect you to have to prove to me that there isn't, that wouldn't make sense. Also, it is quite an extraordinary claim that there is a god, so you will need some pretty extraordinary evidence proving that there is a god. ok? - now get out there and find me some evidence!! peace Notting
Why Christians. I myself get really pissed of when people equate christianity to god. Who says the bible is right, anyone with a brain knows its full of crap, and asking a christian to prove that god exists is like asking a plumber to build a nuclear reactor. WHo says that Taoists, or Neo Palatonians, or IDers dont have a much better understanding.
Do even a quick review of cultural anthropology. You will find it very difficult to locate any society that existed for any prolonged period of time that did not believe in a God/god/gods. I find it curious that modern atheists and agnostics often look askance at us who believe in God [or god/gods], when it is they who are in the very small minority in the large perspective of human history.
I think everyone knows inside that a higher power exists, but people often look at religion and realize how false that is. Personally I think the world needs more spiritualists (and even atheists) and less religious dogma. I believe in god, but not one that needs appeasing, worship, or adoration. I believe in something higher than human preconceptions.
It's nice that people want to believe in some sort of life higher than themselves, but in my opinion, there is no way some thing like a God is plausible. There is no evidence there there is a God, and there never will be. So for now I chose not to believe a book, but scientific facts.
The science said we were monkeys in the beginning - There is no evidence of that but you believe in that ("I chose not to believe a book, but scientific facts").
Yes, I even have him as my wallpaper. http://www.worldcupjapankorea.com/free-soccer-wallpapers/thierry-henry-wallpaper.jpg
