Debunked... There is a big difference between Independant Fundamentals and Conservative Christians. But nothing so big as to amount to anything essential. Afterall, we all believe in Him.

My argument has always been (regarding Santa and Halloween) that letting kids be kids is AOK in my book.

Remember, unless we enter as one of these (kids)... we're in the soup.

I don't judge people for their santa claus traditions, I don't use it with my children because it isn't true. Simple as that. I grew up with santa claus as a child, but don't remember fully believing he existed for whatever reason.

I'm glad you don't judge others for permitting their young children to believe in Santa.

As I said I do not believe it is harmful. I judge no one who believes differently. Often of late, however, the opposing view tends to be dressed in condemnation. I don't see that in your answer.

Everyone makes judgments. It's part of human nature. You haven't transcended being human, have you?

We are talking about judging others in the way the word is used quite often - as a condemnation. Not necessarily just making judgement - ie. deciding something for yourself.

All too human here. But as a Fundamental Christian we try, at least, not to judge.

Rom 2:1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

The other day I actually had a preacher misquote the Bible to me. So bent was he on judgement. He said to me "by their fruits ye shall judge them."

    Here's the actual scripture:

Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

    The concept of GOD

It can't be explained to people who really don’t want to believe. For definite answers just DIE. You will get all your answers in the next world :) but then it will be too late to change your judgment ;)

A logical answer would be: everything has a creator

Where does it say that once you die it is too late to change your judgement?

The Bible tells you that if you die you are in for the judgement. It is up to you to believe it or not.

FInale, look all around u. Evcery cell, every atom. All about structure. My old bible study teacher told us about a scientific study on how galaxies were formed was done by 3 atheist scientist. Their conclusion was that the complexities it took to create this galaxy could not have come out by random chance. It took an exact formula to have created these galaxies and that some super-intelligence decided to dabble around one day. God does exist, i can feel him within many people. Pure unselfish love is what he is about. Its cool that ur parents taught u about him, but u have journey within your soul(the essence of who you are) and there u will find him.

Aww, now I can see why you post the way you do.

Here, this should help. Although you may still need this to aid you in your endeavor;)

What a stupid question, the answer is no. Jerking off is a natural instinct, believing in Santa Claus is not.

LoL Exe, I understand your confusion now. I never said I didn't know how, I said my parents never taught me.

I do however praise you for your endeavor and apparent application of study. Thank you for including your guide.

I would only add that one day you should aspire to a more, um, inclusive, practice. You may find proof by our very existence in its popularity

Judging by your posts it's an educated guess that you need to be told what to do (remember, God has a plan for you) and how to act. If your parents didn't teach you about it it's very likely you don't know how.

Seriously, read the part of my post after the sarcastic emoticon:

Fact is you're right! Had my parents taught me I might not be so damn broke now. (Got five kids :) )

Got to love Christmas though, don't you?

What I appreciate about this conversation is your humor. Maybe we do have common ground afterall ;)
