Now thats just speculation. If a god decides to let me know of his existence I don't think it will have anything to do with your little book.

Does your religion or does your Bible state this?

Ahhh! But that book is about panda cake and not the roots of mankind. There is a slight difference. I am sure panda cake was most likely written by one man who's inspiration was to provide income from his writings. Can't say the same for the Bible though. ;)

I believe both my religion and my bible state this. Besides i believe in mathew it says that bible alone will never work because there were also traditions that jesus and teh disciples had that werent passed on with the bible. The first bible was ratified and approved at the council of carthage and hippo in 393 ad so this was almost 400 years after jesus lived, so u see alot of time has passed between jesus being here and the first bible being approved.

Panda Cake is a children's book written by Rosalie Seidler.
I believe this theoretical discussion would flow much better if one would refrain from insulting or disparaging comments of others' cherished notions.

    Bonum commune communitatis.

If there are things that are not in the Bible it is because God decided it should not be in the Bible not man.It is his word after all.
Besides you need the Holy Spirit to understand the bible not your intelligence.

When I was a child, knowing God was 'watching over me' was a comfort. (Well, except when I was bathing. ;)) Funny, but the older I get, the more I question God's existence and the Bible's role in the grand scheme of things. (Hah, I thought people were supposed to get more settled in their ways as they aged.)

Is God real? I believe that's up to the individual. We all have our own ways of getting through life. If believing in God is comforting, then so be it.

This is what it all comes down to, every single piece of tangible proof that anyone will ever come up with you'll explain away with "that's the way god meant it to be".....

The Bible is only the word of God if you believe in God, however if use common sense, it's a well known fact that the book was written by man.

God is nothing more than a false sense of hope.

In simple terms, people are to scared to face there own truths and are to afraid to know that no one is out there watching them and protecting them from professed "evils". Most people with a weaker personality choose to believe in something like this. I find it funny that most Christians can criticizes how other believe and then look at there own filth and choose to believe something just as far fetched as other faiths.
