God of War III - any one ?

I received my God of War III yesterday. I bought it from Zapak.com. They are selling it at a launch discount rate of Rs. 2250.

I loved the God of War I and God of War II. The latest version is path breaking and awesome.

Any body here playing the GOW III ?

 

Yes I played God of War 1,2, on ps2 and III also on my ps3.

 

Yeah I actually didn't really like the previous games, but I'm hooked to GOW 3

I finished GOW3 in 34 hours approx. The graphics and sounds are amazing and sets up a new standard in gaming. But I am underwhelmed in comparison to when I played GOW1 and GOW2. I think this is the end of the series since

Kratos dies in the end after killing Zeus and liberating Hope to this world from the Pandora's Box.

 

Uhhhh, you obviously didn't watch what they show AFTER the credits run, did you? If you have a save close to the end, I suggest playing it again and allowing the credits to run all the way through. It will show you that GOW IV is possible....

 

I've played the first two on PS2 and I really enjoyed them. I plan on renting GOW3 though.

anyway so it takes 34 hours? hmmm that's longer than a typical action game

 

The actual game play is of 15 hours approx (according to Sony). But I had to take breaks (do some work, as the wife frowns on continuous gaming and hogging the telly) so took 1 and a half day to finish it.

My little cousin used to play god of war II on his PSP all the time. He used to request me to play as well and I used to play sometimes. I enjoyed that game and it is quite awesome. If I had god a hold of this game some time back when I was a hardcore gamer then I would be playing this game all day long. I heard about the new release of this new god of war game as well. May be my cousin will let me play the next time I visit him.

 

I'm still playing God of War III...

 

What's the deal with God of War III. . .I've never played it but I see it talked about a lot lately.
