    "I created you! Bow before me! Bawwww!"

    Does not make me believe in him more. Or at all for that matter. To make a being, then demand loyalty or suffer darkness, is pretty much like me making a family in the Sims and demanding they do every task I ask of them - for if they do not, I burn them in a fire pit.

    It's absolute ridiculousness. It sounds more like a spoiled child than a caring god. "I could stop disease - but f--k it, it's a test! Oh look, Jerry Springer *ignores*" You can say all you want about trials, tribulations, all of that hootenany, but the fact is that there is no one watching over us, and there never was. The only people that watch over you are your doctors, your lawyers, your family and the occasional passerby that is not a dick. If you say they were inspired by God to help you - then they have no free will. If you say they had Christ in their heart, you take away from their own empathy.

    Attributing things to God and Christ diminish what other humans do of their own free will. By attributing very human things to something that is not there, you are pretty much saying "Bah, he didn't want to help me, it was God/Christ who made him!" rather than "What a helpful person!"

    This is all just total madness, and I know you will all go to your graves thinking that God and Christ did EVERYTHING GOOD, and that man did EVERYTHING EVIL - because man can do no good unless inspired by your twisted ideas of a higher being who has nothing better to do.

    I'm no sock puppet, I'm no marionette, I'm no sim being controlled by a higher power. No gods or sons of god inspire me when I help someone with groceries, I am inspired by no one but myself when I spend an hour helping someone design a web page, I am not filled with "Christ's Love" when I donate money to any charitable organization. I do them when I feel it is right - not when someone who does not exist inspires me to. I don't go around saving spiders to please any lord, and I don't follow traffic laws because of fear of the law.

    I choose to. I, a human being, choose to do these things. You will likely say its because I am 'inspired' or whatever bullhocky you're trying to sell for 'salvation' but the sad truth is that those who believe so strongly are those who needed to believe to survive in this world. It is not a world of darkness, death, and disease, but you would have others think that to worship a deity. It is a world of superstition and rejection of science, a world of ignorance and combat, a world where petty ideas can trigger world wars, jihads, suicide bombings, and otherwise. A world of political corruption through the superstitions of the past that hold us back from life saving technologies.

    Fear is your greatest asset - and I refuse to fear anything except heights, the occasional poisonous snake I come across and the Atrax robustus.

    I am free.

    What proof do you have?

    Merely saying something over and over does not make it more true, except, in your mind, as you will start to actually believe it. Provide some proof. Oh wait, thats right, you can't. Except, of course, because the bible tells you so.

    Question that never gets answered, if God gives us free will, and doesn't meddle in our lives like so many of you Christians seem to think, than why are there "miracles" at the same time.

    Thanks Nehemiah. One thing I do not understand though is that if Jesus is G-d, why would he study "THE WORD of GOD Scripture; The Torah; The Tanakh; The Old Testament" wouldn't he know that by heart? Does it really say that he studied these books?

    You are so very welcome Rebecca; Yes JESUS CHRIST is [THE (LIVING) WORD of] GOD; and one would wonder why, as GOD, HE would [need or want to] study. We must remember though, that although JESUS CHRIST IS 100% GOD, HE is also 100% Man; HE is Man for our EXAMPLE (of how we should BE), for at least 3 reasons that I can see:
    1) Our Source- "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4);
    2) Our Substitute/Salvation- ". . .if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." (1John 2:1-2);
    3) Our Sovereign/Sovereignty (GOD)- "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6);
    So then, why would HE study? As THE PERFECT EXAMPLE for us as to how to REALLY get to know our GOD and FATHER.

    And regarding your question, "Does it really say that he studied these books?"
    The short answer is, No.

    Thank you for your both your love and your prayer; I assure you they are both mutual.

    If by "Allah" you mean THE GOD of my LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, then we are in total agreement; and it is THE same GOD who has already drawn and guided me unto HIMSELF via JESUS CHRIST.

    According to the spirit in which I believe you to mean this, this is very kind and gracious for you to state about me. Thank you much.

    Which can only come via "THE PRINCE of Peace": JESUS CHRIST. This I hope and pray for you.

    some points i don't agree with you you said "
    first : That is theory and reality is much, much more better than theories. God's existence is everywhere: from natural creatures to councious human being.
    Second : we a a "human being" not a "thing".

    People were made from millions of years of proven evolution. Plants were made with the same concept, with microorganisms, that evolved through millions of years, animals share the same concept. All we are, is some organism on a rock circling a dieing star... How do you know god created admin an eve? you dont... its just another fairy tail like santa claus and the easter bunny...

    How is our star dying when it still has 4.5 billion years estimated life yet before it becomes a red giant?

    Oh, becuase every second, it uses up to 4 million tonnes of hydrogen, which it only has a limited supply until it eventually dies?

    Yes, but it has a supply for 4 billion more years. That's like saying from the moment of your birth, you are dying because one day you will expire. I prefer to consider it a dying star when we actually exhaust the hydrogen supply and it has to go to helium, causing it to become a red giant and consuming the inner three rocky planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth).

    On a human time scale, it is nowhere close to dying. Our short lives are insignificant compared to the lifespan of our balanced star.

    It will outlive us, our children, our gran children, and even a thousand generations from now, it will outlive them. The only thing dying is our planet.

    Aagain your looking at god in a very basic way. You have to look further to truely understand how beautiful and amazing god is. Who created the mechanisms that were there in the first that that enabled this awesome universe with all of its diversity to exist. Where did all of this energy comes from, where did all of this mass come from, where did all of the scientific laws that have complete harmony come from? Energy, and mass couldnt just exists without someone or some force creating them. How did the first cells know to come together and form complex organisms? What scientific laws and principles cause them to want to come together?
    As an atheist starts to delve into these questions it will cause them to think about the awesome task and power needed to CREATE THEM. Thats right I said CREATION.

    Atheists keep talking about believing in fairy tales, but to believe that the universe was always there seems to be a fairy tale to me. So they should really stop judging people of faith and start look at the short comings of their own beliefs.
    Later folks - Im not giving up on my leaf throwing experiment. Who needs god. I will one day create a living animal by throwing a bunch of leaves in the air and transforming into one as they come down. I will make it happen because i believe in fairy tales:)

    well look at it this way we started out as gas residue from the big bang pretty much dust. you will die rott and then turn into dust again. and most likely 10billion years from now the blackhole in the center of the milky way will tear this galaxy apart and turn what dust is left of you into smashed up atoms neva to have a exist again.

    wen you die your brain dies that means what ever information you stored in your life time is gone neva to return or leave to another realm its all bullcrap.

    give it 30yrs tho and we might be able to transfer all your brains information to a computer that i will believe more then you go to heaven wen you die.

    I can say the same thing about your god? Where did your god come from? Was your god always here forever? How does your god have a human son?

    1 theory to how everything started, is possibly 2 universes collided then created the big bang.

    What is your theory of where your god came from, and created everything?

    A fart, right?

    Was that supposed to have been a question?:rolleyes:
    GOD is ETERNAL (Which has no beginning and no ending).
    Not yet.
    By being ALL THE GOD that HE IS. . .and then impregnating one of HIS Creation with just HIS WORD, according to HIS POWER. How would you do it if you were god?

    Question: Where did those "possibly 2 universes" that "collided" come from?

    HE came from nowhere. . .because HE has nowhere to come from, and nowhere to go to, because HE IS Omnipresent. . .wherever HE chooses to be.
    Yoo, if you're going to doubt GOD, you really should know something about THE GOD that you're attempting to doubt. . .don't you think so?
