Sorry for the late response. Traffic is rapidly increasing everyday, so we had to upgrade our server (bandwidth - 10 to 20mbps connection) yesterday as we got 5K visitors in a day. I will pm you an analytics reports tonight(I have no time now).

The server:
P4 3GHz, 1GB RAM, 160GB Harddisk (3GB used), 20Mbps connection to internet. CentOS, WEBMIN and FFMPEG installed on the server.

Romania traffic is %0.04 of all traffic.

What language has been used for the coding of the site? You mention you engineered the site, therefore what are the requirements for the new owner from a coding and hosting perspective that you have not already covered.

But I want to make clear that things changed, now the site is getting 4K unique visitors on average and our profit has increased with same ratio. the new BIN is $20K, sorry guys, but the traffic of the site keeps increasing and we had to upgrade the server as well. now we are earning $1200 a month. You'll earn your money back in 16 months, if the traffic stays same. But it wont, and will keep increasing.

I wasnt going to post in this thread, but this statement is completely misleading. I run a lot of football sites - I know the subject inside out. There is no way you can maintain that traffic. When the football seasons finish, your traffic will take a huge dive. You're getting good traffic now as the seasons are underway, but after christmas the traffic is going to suck until next summer.

 

You are talking about a site that became so popular in a short time, not about a football forum or live scores site. Yes your statement seems logical, but the site does not only offer latest football videos, you can also find the best goals of the years with player profiles. Won't you people want to watch skills of Pele / Maradona in summer.

Also International tounaments and friendly matches does also bring traffic to site. A world cup or a european championship can even boost the traffic to higher levels.

Sure, next summer there is euro 2008 which will bring traffic. I am just saying you are going to struggle to maintain that traffic. I've ran football sites for 4 years now, and right now is the premium traffic time - August till November. After that it dies right down. So the figure you are saying of 16 months earnings wont be accurate.

 

Okey, after november, the champions league will have great(bigger) games that everyone want to watch (Liverpool - Real Madrid alone would bring at least 10K visits that day), and before european leagues finish, all the games will be more crucial and I'm sure all football fans will continue watching goalvideoz. As for euro 2008, again I'm sure it would be the highest traffic levels if you think all the great players playing in that tournament. and yes, it would be hard to get that much traffic in summer, if there are no tournaments. Also I do not think this site gets all its potential traffic now.

monthly revenu is $1200-$1300 (based on the last 2 week earnings), and the google analytics shows a 90K unique visitors in the last month, and an estimation shows 150K unique visitors (based on the last 2 week traffic)
