1. Your AdSense goal for next month $100, which is about double what I am making now 2. How you plan to achieve it Elven Magic? Seriously, content and launching of a new site 3. What you are going to spend the extra dosh on All of it goes right back in at this point, possible that some day it might pay my bills
Almost 2 thirds of the way through the month and we are holding at our goal of 50 per day. How you going with your goal - 2/3 of the way through the month?
I am on track to meet my goals on most of my sites. A couple are a bit short, and one is exceeding the goal. I am pleased...
My goal is to turn two of my forums into decent money makers. I have one that brings home the bacon and in the past year I have branched that site off and formed two new sites that are similar in their theme but different aspects of the hobby I am in. One day, when/if they take off like the first one has I will be golden. Until then I spend alot of time working on new ideas and writing custom programs for each of them to make them stand out from the competition.
My advice is: don't set goal for adsense. Set goal for urself. 1) how many unique pages can u make every day? 2) how many unique visitors can u bring every day? 3) how many unique links can u make every day in other sites? 4) how many unique subscribers can u make every day? 5) how many unique ways can u innovate to earn $$$ by not depending upon any one source. These are what going to make you a unique webmaster. Else, be in the crowd.
Well, with some luck and some help from a few massively popular links, I've hit my $1/day goal for 3 days straight, and it looks like if I can sustain even a much-reduced level of traffic I should get a $10 month easily. So I guess it's time to double those to a $20 month or consistent $2 days.
Key... It's not easy to get $10 a day. Let the ebooks claim anything. Expect a 50% growth every month, if u keep ur growth 50% in all respects....pages, traffic, links... at leat.
That's a good expansion of question 2: But advanced goal setting involes all three and telling someone you answers to all three... e.g. posting here.
Dominic, I am getting there. On one day I actually overshot my target (yippee!) but my daily average is not there yet. Still it has increased considerably this month (by about 25%) so I am hoping to report that my original target has been reached by end of September. Then, of course, I will set another one. Good thread Dominic.
My goal next month is to maintain the levels I'm at today (1000+/day) and to work toward doubling that.
I want to make 1$ a day next month, I am now earning 15 cents a day or smthing I will achieve this by promoting my website more
If this site is over 6 weeks old, ditch it and find a new niche! The trick is to build LOTS of sites a single profitable niche. Making a single site bigger and bigger is a waste of time - stop at 100 pages or so of content and start a new site (if the first one makes money). There it is - the $1m AdSense secret. Let's see how many 'get it'...
Cheers e10, consider it a free tip on goal setting [insert shameless plug = I do life coaching as fundraiser, see sig]. Most webmasters aren't accountable or lead or challenged, this impacts on productivity and outcomes. Public goal setting does help IMO, when I have time I should probably write an article on goal setting for the seo crowd as its such an important part of business management.
Then build other sites that are self-sustaining (using forums, group feeds, etc), and make them maintenance free. Then build another. And another. Building just one site will never make you rich! Well, unless you want to work hard for the rest of your life! Seriously, though - it's all about the NUMBERS!!!!
Well, I would be interested to read it. It would probably make a good article for the article sites too so you'd get a lot of links out of it.
