Goalsetting for Adsense Earnings

I'm making around 10 dolars a day between adsence and affiliates. My short term goal is 100/day by feb ( a year after starting my first site). Right now I wan't to finish promoting the small sites I created to learn, Finish my halfway done datafeed stores network (goal is 11, 4 done) and set it to auto pilot.

I wan't to create a nice big content site but I can't decide on what (and seo/webmaster/etc is overcrowded).

 

and they (we) rarely click on ads.

 

Yeah I know, I really want to start a big site to work on, hevay on quality content, but that is a deterement. Also all my hobies either don't pay much per click, and must websites run out of bussines becuase people don't donate, support, and no ad revenue.

 

My hobby sites don't pay much per click either.. but I've noticed a potential problem lately, I'm not sure what to do about it. My sites were doing average clickthru percentages compared to my other sites but lately Google has been throwing up ads that people seem to drool over and despite the low cost per click, the clickthrough rate is skyrocketing based on those ads.. Should I be worried and try to PREVENT people from clicking the ads just to lower the click through rate??

Will keep working on my websites. How many pages should I have? how do I get continuous flow of visitors is my next question? I have initial burst of visions but later on it dies down.

 

For a continuous flow of visitors... get high rankings in popular search results.

The number of pages... as many quality pages of use to your site visitors as you can possibly write.

 

Well a third of the way into the month I'm on schedule to achieve my goal, achieving a 50$ daily average but relying on better weekdays to counter slower weekends.

How are you doing with your adsense goal so far?

 

well my former goal has been successfully done. For the month of August I wanted to double my earning....

 

1. To place 10 more dedicated content pages in my main adsense area and to implement images above ads in my 5 other secondary sites. - I've commisioned a writer to do five articles today. They'll be up by next week. If these are OK I'll get another 5 done ASAP.
2. $30/day: $21.13/day this month vs $17.48 last month
4. September 30 2005: Looking good so far.

One new website per week - wow. That's quite a schedule.

 

What kind of site do you have? And what do you mean you got banned before they ever spidered your site? Did you get accepted into the program and then banned?

 

I am moving very slowly but working lots of hours trying to get things moving. I started in early July, and my August revenues are 1800% more than July was, so I feel like I am moving in a positive direction. Right now I just want to keep growing my current sites, get more traffic and add new sites as time allows.

 

1800% is impressive, unless your July total was 3 bucks. That would be like what, $54 for August.

I wouldn't bother measuring growth in percentages until you start bringing in some decent money. It really doesn't tell you much.

But yea, upward is always a positive direction.

 

I just hit my goal of $500 a day for the first time yesterday...woohoo!

I am planning to increase my adsense income to 100 $ / month to get cheques monthly and not yet plan how to spend it since no payment received

 

I guess my first goal is $10/month, though it would be nice to hit $1/day. I'm new, so I'm still averaging out at a pretty miniscule amount per day.
