Goalsetting for Adsense Earnings

well to get it back on track:

I'm trying to reach at least $50 a month with my new site, although not with just adsense. Already getting $25 a month. But looking to get more and more ofcourse!

I had to leave my job at the Meat Factory, because it destroyed my body ( you don't want to know how hard it is to type after a full day of work for a shitty pay )

Now I have to get money, but don't know any better jobs, not many jobs available here. So I need to make it through my website.

I'm investing all my money into more visitors! Buying Links, Ad Spaces etc etc etc! All I can do to increase the revenue!

 

Okay,

My goal is to get the av. daily up to $50 from $33.

I will do this by adding AS - especially Critter´s Law - to more pages and updating those pages I haven´t been to in a while. More content too.

Bringing in extra money via Adsense allows me to turn away some outside work so that I concentrate on my own sites and have more time playing with my kids

Finally my first site is producing some decent (for me) dough 10+/day even though the big G. doesn't like my site(s) (didn't figure out why too... )

Here's my goal:
1. Articulate your goal
- To double the current AS revenue from my first site
- To reach 5/day for my other 2

2. Quantify it (describe how success will be indicated / measured)
This would be achieved through putting up more content focussed on reasonable keyword payouts, and in the other 2 cases through building backlinks

3. Announce it (tell someone else what your goal is)

4. Set a date

Im going for $5 dollars a day shorterm and $100 longterm goal

 

My goal - to pay up the tuiton fee i owed. $5k +

 

Goal, to double my adsense earnings by the end of the year...

 

Last month (my first proper one on AdSense) I made an average of $1.80 a day. This month I'm making an average of $3.20. This time next month I want to be able to look back and see an average of $5 or more.

I'm hoping to do this by:

Adding more content to my current sites
Optimizing some lazy AdSense on www.randomrant.co.uk
Launching a new site I'm working on

The new site - while by no means built for AdSense - is the first I'll have done where AdSense will be a consideration from the start, so I'm hoping the layout should lead to a high CTR without the ads being too imposing.

I'm also hoping my keywords are worth $100 a click, but unforunately I suspect they're going to be round about the 10c mark at most

 

i'm not even gonna bother setting goals until i get unbanned by google (which banned me without ever spidering my site) - i'm just gonna concentrate on link building and getting a really nice, active community going, with maybe a new music news item on the front page each day. Once i see myself in google ill start fishing in the community for new writers, and the community can become the enginehouse for contentwriting for the site

then we can talk revenue

besides, forums offer a lot of alternative revenue sources. Ads for content pages, other stuff for forums.

It's been interesting hearing people's goals... anyone else want to announce their goals?

 

my goal is to actually put some time into my sites.
And decide whether to quit a secure income full time job which leaves me no time whatsoever to work on my sites...

 

I say quit your full time job... THEN get a new full time job that lets you slack around and surf net the whole day.

 

My goal is to grow my total adsense income by 30% in August. I plan to tweak my ads, add a reviews section for additional content, etc.

 

I do that secretly at work now...
Seriously though, how do the people here who work full time manage to make time for their websites as well, without becoming a geek locked up inside in front of the computer all weekend?
Personally I'd like to be able to work on my sites during the week and have time for myself on weekends... but thats not possible when also holding down a full time job.

 

Short term goal is $50 a day, it should be doable.

Currently it's around $15 a day, only had adsense on for 3 days and the placements are highly untweaked now and not on very many pages.

 

That's a pretty good start, you may even get to 100$ per day if there is that much room for improvement / expansion.

 

Well I kicked off day one of the month with $66 so I'm sure hoping it holds at an average of $50 per day.

My goal currently is 2.5k for the month of august. By the end of the year, 5k a month.

 

my goal is getting atleast $100 this month from adsense.last month i got only $28

 

Improved the ads a bit and now it's pretty consistant at $20. $50 is still short time goal that I hope to see before the end of the month.
