jlawrence, it will be very good if you are able to increase it by that much each month, you are looking to double it in 3 or 4 months that is good
This month I will be receiving a check for $104 from Google Adwords. However, it took me six months to get there. I'm averaging $15 a month. My goal is to earn $25 this month. I would like to increase this every month so that I am making $100 a month by summer break. (I am a teacher.) I plan to reach these goals by finishing and getting visitors to my new educational site. The money will be spent on advertising and paid content. My longer term goal is to make $4,000 a month. I plan to do this by adding to my sites and increasing visitors. This will allow me more freedom with my time. Paula S
You could frame it, but I personally would cash it - but hey that's just me... Well it looks like I will definately hit my goal of $150 for the month of October - I'm currently sitting on $188 which means I'm only $12 shy of achieving my Novemeber goal as well - which is great news. I sincerely, hope that these great earnings continue.
I just reached $200 for the month of October which completes my October and November goal in the same month. Now I will have to push for my January 2006 goal of $300 in November and reset my January 2006 goal to $500 in a month.
That is a very good goal. I am currently on that path, hopefully I can continue because it looks like once I hit about $400/month things just go CRAZY.. 400, 800, 1600, 3200, 6400, 12800, 25k, 50k, 100k, 200k as you can see within a year of 400 at that growth you would be making over a million a year...
It'll probably not be possible to keep on doubling, but it's always good to have a higher or impossible goal to keep yourself working harder.
Wow that is going to take some serious work - I don't even think that would be possible with daily earning flucuating so much. If I were you I'd make it so that it was at least weekly so you can take advantage of "some" averaging of figures or you might find you lose motivation when your progress falls short of your goal.
I only reached it once this month LOL! I really don't know what to do, the traffic seems to be stuck at a certain range.
Well there goes another month and with Jagger rolling out bit by bit it's hard to know what this month will hold. Best wishes everyone.
My earnings September $20 October $13 Want to get to $30 this month Am adding a couple of more pages. Feel the key though is not more pages but more traffic so am looking for everyway I can to add links and cost effective PPC advertising. Brian www.bestrealincome.com
Exceeded October's goal, my November's goal is to triple the revenue. On my way to starting my next big project. Wish me luck =)
I found the same thing happened to me with my sites. My sites seemed to plateu at around 1000 uniques each, so I started a new site in mid October and its already receiveing around 500 - 600 uniques a day with a google PR 3, and I'm looking to start another 2 or 3 similar sites. So I think that sometimes you need to diversify becuase further SEO just won't reap many rewards, and whilst I believe that its important to have a few quality sites rather than a porfolio of hundreds of very slap together average ones - I also think that you need to treat your time and effort as an investment as well and sometimes its important to make sure you are optimsing your return on that investment by not over investing in one asset which makes diversification the obvious step. So I wish you luck with your new projects.
Diversifying is always a good idea. Just a word of warning... Be careful about cross linking your new sites. It may seem like a good idea at first, but over doing it can get you dropped from the likes of Yahoo and others. On a lighter note... One tip I always recommend for getting more traffic... Send out a few press releases every couple months.... Submit your site to usatoday, coolsiteoftheday, etc. Then start a newsletter.... There are many creative ways to get visitors. Maybe even try a magazine ad in a niche related to your site.... Good luck everyone...
