Goals not working.

Hi, I set up a google goal and know for a fact it did not work. It's for a PayPal sale confirmation, which sends users back to a thank you page on my site. I've had some sales and yet analytics doesn't register them. Do I need a special code for that page or something?

Well, you do need to have the tracking script installed on the conversion page, but I'm sure you have that done. The only thing I can think of is that the Paypal process might not be auto-sending people back to the site. If I remember correctly, there are a few steps involved in getting Paypal to send people directly back to your page after they complete a transaction. You might want to test your paypal payment process to see if this is happening correctly.

You do not need to do much. Just name the page you want to reach people. If people will reach, it will be counted as 1 goal.
