Recenty, 6 transactions were made on a a e-commerce web page (data from GA e-commerce report), but GA shows only 1 goal. If it because there were only 1 unique pageview (one person purchased 6 times)? So Goals are based or page views or unique page views?
There is no connection between page views and goal. Its dependents on how many users has feel the inquiry form.
Goals are not based on website page views and unique page views. May be one person has filled up a form 6 times.
It is exactly what happened. 1 person made 6 purchase orders. But i don't get why goals are not connected with page views.. Goals is set to URL Destination, so it is activated if sertain URL (Page) is visited. This page has been reached 6 times, but goal was activated only once. So goals are based on condition (URL, events, etc.) + unique visitors?
Did you set your funnel. May be 6 users went your goals destination url but not completed your query box. So set your funnel page that one which is appearing after the completed the Goals Query form.
Regarding the problem discussed above, i would agree with stevethomas, Funnel is good option to get rid of this kind of issues.
