Folks, I’ve posted about this critical issue before but am still looking for an answer. The funnel conversion rate at the bottom of Funnel Visualization and the abandonment rate in Goal Abandoned Funnels don’t add up to 100% for any of my goals, and for some goals, there is a discrepancy of as much as 20%. I think I understand how funnel conversion rate in Funnel Visualization is calculated, since I can see the unique page views at each step in the funnel, but then how is the abandonment rate in Goal Abandoned Funnels calculated? I definitely need to be able to get dependable goal completion data per segment, but segmentation is not available for Funnel Visualization, so I have to depend on Goal Abandoned Funnels for any segementation. Any help is appreciated.
