    I have a full domain where wordpress is installed, but would like to use subdomains to work on additional wordpress projects until they go live.

    How do i install wordpress onto a subdomain whilst it already exists on my primary domain?

    You should be able to create sub-domains using your host's control panel (probably ),and then you can set the root directory for that sub-domain.

    In the root directory upload the blog's script (or if you have any one-click auto-installing scripts provided by your host) and..that's it!

    you can create a subdomain then link it to a directory and build from there
