i see tons of threads asking when ypn will be public etc. Well, for publishers that can't get accepted for some reason or another i reccomend you apply to revenuescience's ppc program. I tried it out (even though i am a ypn publisher) and had a pretty good expirience. http://revenuescience.com/site/publishers/publishers_why-bt.asp Thats a url and mods/admins that is NOT an affiliate url etc good luck to making $$ harrison
thnx harrison...maybe some of these people will actually quit asking about ypn, but that would assume they actually read your post...
Honestly!! I feel a little bad for all those publishers whose websites actually have potential but dont get accepted into ypn. This is a nice alternative which is run through overture /revsci they do a revenue share 60% for you 20% for yahoo and 20% for revsci... I hope this helps you guys in the near future due to the saturation of adsense etc harrison p.s. i love rep points
i checked them out. they take too much of a cut to make it worth it. but i never adequately tested them. they also use some kind of behavioral engine to display ads. which, for non-content sites / page works well. i saw them in action on a video sharing site and i did find someone in one of my niches that uses them. comparing notes with that person they are only making a fraction / click of what i do for that niche. also, their ctr rates were pretty low. i suspect this was due to the non-specific targetting (behavioral) for that page. but definately, for those that cant get ypn and want something different than adsense, this is worth a look. jmo
Do they have a specific traffic or page view requirement? From what I have been seeing only sites pushing serious inventory have been able to get in.
