Go Jets! I'm a Favre Fan, not a Packer Fan!

Ordered my Jets Jersey today! Gonna look real nice. In the mean time, I had to put duct tape on my GB Favre Jersey and write "NY JETS" in Sharpie on the tape.

Could not be happier. Would have loved to see him in Tampa though, especially since I will be there during the Sept 28th game!

    Go Jets!!!

He went to the Jets?

I'm sad to see him leave GB after all these years, and I am still for the Packers.

Ordered one for my son today as well.
I was never a huge Favre lover, not to say I didn't like him but not to the extent of others.

I however was sickened at how the Packers dealt with this, showing absolutely no loyalty to a guy who gave them the best years of his career, could have gone anywhere for more money but stayed for the love of the game.

    Simply disgusting IMO.

Many Packer fans I know lost respect for Favre, I myself find myself having more respect for him than ever.

    I agree with Grim.

He gave the Packers so much, almost to a superbowl last year.

I think out of respect they should have played him, even though Aaron Rodgers is in the backstep.

He can only learn from Favre.

I am glad he got out of there, hopefully now he will get respected in New York.

I agree with GRIM as well... As for the respect thing.. There is a hell of a lot we did not know and may never know about what went on up in GB. For all we know, Thompson wanted him out of there from the get go so his guy could play.

Favre put fans in the seat, and paid the bills up in GB for years. I lived through "All My Packers" on Lazer back in the days of Infante, Magic Man, and the Vacinator! They Packers sucked before Favre during the first few years I moved here. Favre was fun to watch and was a big part of why I grew to love my adopted team.

My mom is from NYC (Bronx) and a big Jets Fan! She always razzed me and loved her Jets.... Looks like we share a common team now!
