Have you ever been in a situation that you want to be someone which you have dreamt of and the circumstances just push you to adjust as a different person. Well i always wanted to be a Web Designer and never really had the chance to go in depth and study all i wanted to study. Now i'm forced into a field [studies] where i have nothing related to web design or computers and i'm totally frustrated with it for 2 years now. comments are appreciated.
Sometime live teaches us things which we don't want to do...but seriously if you don't wish to do that you should have the courage to say so... you can still learn web designing though not as your curriculum but still as an hobby..
I have had many dreams in life. I have gone through web development at a young age. I have been a cook. Both I thought about long term futures with but in the end decided that I find it more enjoyable doing it on a personal level and currently now I am doing a job I had never thought about doing but I enjoy it and still get to come home and enjoy my earlier dreams without the stress of schooling.
How are you forced into it? Honestly, i'd follow what you want to do, not what other people want you to do. It's worked for me so far.
Follow your dreams. If your doing something with your life that isn't making you happy, if what you're doing is not what you were put on this earth to do then don't do it. You only live once, don't waste it.
You will never be success if you're doing something you don't love. I only can suggest you to keep learning about web designing. Don't let this go. Keep learning. And believe, that you will make a living from web designing one day.
Sometimes you have to make a choice as to putting food on the table and paying the rent. We can't always start off doing what we want rather we do what we can because we have to. Later on you can build up to what you want to do.
I was n the same problem n college time!!! officially,I'm an Operations' manager,but I started 2 study programming the last 3 months....! Just do something u Love now,Don't waste ur time and ur dreams
You are more likely to shine in a field when you do a job that interests you, rather than the one in which you are forced to join. Think over and see whether you can pursue web designing as a career.
No one should be able to force you into doing something you don't want to do. You alone have power over your life, simple as that.
Thanks for your wonderful comments guys. Thanks m8. I have still 2 years still to complete this course and i dont want to waste time doing something i hate to do and not interested in. Some people say to me "Just do it for your parents, adjust " and "How can you say that you'd be successful" ..i know i can do it but these things just make me go mad.
I will say go for your dream. Do whatever you like to do, becasue it is part of your life. No matter who say a word about what you did is not for your family or friends, because at the end, it is you have to live with it. I have so many dream for myself, however, I have to step by step to make it real to me.
