I didnt write that post for promotion or something like this
but, for example, with www.ixwebhosting.com in 10 minutes i get all answers needed. (but they are not using paypal, thats something negative)
I am using internet services since 1999. WE ARE IN 2007 !
Is possible for a services provider to let me waiting 36 hours for an answer?
And all answers (help in fact) START WITH "we apologize for any inconvenience" .... ok ok , you apologize using my time and my money !

Come on guys! We spending our money! And they need to make our work EASILY ! not a nightmare !

Is about 3 hours since i removed (canceled) all my deals with godaddy and my panel blocked. Only errors. And, in fact, all i want is TO UNLOCK MY Credit card and PayPal from their hands !!!!! I am sorry, but i have this right !
You have my word, i removed my domains FOR EVER. Even they are not longer than 5 days. I dont waste my time and my nervs with a cheap service.
I lost about 100$........ nevermind, i hope they will be happy to resell my domains again !

When i called support, i didnt get it, and now, after 3 hours since i removed everything from my shoppings, i get this:

We are sorry to discover that you will no longer be using our services. Your opinion is important to us! Could you please take a moment to let us know why you are canceling your service and how we can improve for you?

    Just go to
........ and they give me a link to waste another time to tell them why i am mad !

And thats all story start because one of my customers told me "i want godaddy domains, are cheap. dont let me to spend a fortune in another place"

Ok, done..... you can see the results (him as well)

i have tried both! and both are good, though for yahoo they don't allow to upload htaccess! so that's a huge limitation, but other than that, everything is fine with yahoo!:D

that really sucks..but most big companies make you wait for support..HP is even worse. yeah it stinks, but its the price that you pay for getting cheap domain names.

godaddy is good for domain name registration, but keep away from their hosting services.

I would "NEVER" buy hosting from registrars, I have seen many clients suffering cause of the reason that they baught both domain and hosting from same place.

GoDaddy / eNom / Directi would be a safe place to purchase domains and then host them with a host whose fulltime business is hosting only...

Between Godaddy and Yahoo, definitely Go Daddy. I don't know why, possibly because they are more experienced in the field.

I have to stick with godaddy because I've heard about domain transferring problems with Yahoo (apparently it's more difficult).

I found both Yahoo and GoDaddy to be unresponsive to problems and unprofessional in nature. I don't think I can trust either one. Instead I've been using Dynadot, which though more expensive provides more service and IMHO more reliability. Generally for web services, I think one gets what one pays for. A domain name is very important (except for speculators) so I'm happy to pay an extra dollar or two per year.

    Neither. I prefer Netfirms. GoDaddy is a rip-off, and they're ultra-slow.

I've never tried Yahoo, but from what I've seen with their web-hosting, I don't think it would be that good.
