    I don't think Godaddy is all that great, but they are cheap and has all the tools you need to host a small to medium size site. As long as you are reasonably self sufficient and don't need to contact their so-called "support" (aka a bunch of f--kin retards), then they're a good choice. But if you need hand-holding, Godaddy isn't for you. They are, simply put, the proud owners of the worst damn support staff in the known universe. Other than that, you can't beat $10 for a domain and 2 months hosting. :) (Or $8 if you use online coupons.)

    The emails were your confirmations . . . you should have gotten 1 for each item you signed up for. If you signed up for 9 things, and only got 8 confirms, then you know 1 item didn't go through.
