Recently, when i try to send an email but mostly it happens to reply emails, My email doesn't get sent and I get an error message emailed to me instantly. The error message is usually something similar to this :

"Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

    Subject: RE: Submission Gi Giveaway
    Sent: 1/8/2012 11:05 PM

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

'Cody Sweet' on 1/8/2012 11:05 PM
552 sid:KK4X1i00115qTnP01:Message rejected for spam or virus content"

After I get this error message I change a few words on the email very slightly and after a few try's it usually ends up sending.

I do not get this error message every time. I get this error message only sometimes.

I called my hosting provider, Go Daddy, however they claim the problem is not on their end.

Any idea how I can get this issue fixed???

Your host is correct, it has nothing to do with them. It's the recipients email server that is rejecting the message so you will need to speak to the recipient and ask them to contact their email server admin to find out why your message is being rejected.

You may be right, however, this has not happened to only one recipient. This has happened to over 100 different recipients in various states and countries.

Any idea what may be the problem if this is the case?

It could be a number of things, but it's difficult to say without seeing the emails AND knowing how the recipient email servers are set-up. The following spring to mind, but I'm not saying they are correct

    1. You are sending spam
    2. Someone using the same email server is sending spam and your emails are being caught/marked as a result of their actions
    3. The recipients have blocked you or marked previous emails you've sent them as "spam" and now the email server is reacting to that
    4. You're sending emails via an SMTP service on the web server rather than through an account on a properly configured email server
    5. The emails you are sending are infected by a virus
    6. Do these emails have attachments? Is it just the emails with attachments that are having problems?
    7. What about external images e.g. a company logo. Are these embedded in the email? Could these be the problem?

If you know a couple of these recipients personally, I'd get in touch with them to see if they can find out the reasons your emails are being rejected. Doing that would be the quickest way to find any problems you're not aware of.

How can i tell if the emails i'm sending are infected by a virus?

I don't no what else it could be. I don't send out span and I am the only one sending out emails from this server. The recipients I have emailed have not blocked me almost 100% sure. Emails don't have attachments so it can't be that. Company logo etc is usually in the first email I send to someone not on reply's and this happens mostly on replies so it can't be that either. can't be #4 since go daddy set up everything correctly. Maybe a virus? How can I tell?

Could you possibly look into this for me?

With a subject line like "Submission Gi Giveaway", it is absolutely no surprise that your emails are being marked at spam. If I got an email like that, I would almost 100% think it was spam. I'm sure the spam protection on the email addresses are catching those keywords and marking your messages as spam.
