    hmm.... alright... soo I'm thinking about buying this thing... (please don't recommend any other)... for some personal backups... I'd like to ask whether... can I make multiple FTP users so that they can upload it on my online storage.... which risking any of my account security???

    Don't know for sure, but most hosts don't allow you to upload anything that is not directly used by your web site....for exactly the reason to stop people using their hosting space for personal backups. You'll need to check their terms, but it's probably not allowed. Purchase an online backup account if you want to backup personal stuff.
