GNU license

    I was wodering if by GNU license its allowed to remove the link back to the original script developer website ?

    For example can i remove the link back to Mediawiki website if i install their software ?

    From GNU fdl:

    IMO you may remove the hyperlink but you must preserve the copyright notice itself. I am not sure about this.

    No you cannot remove the credit from it unless you take permission from the owner.
