GNU cash

    I recently got an ebook on accounting, which is good, but it doesn't recommend a program to use. We use QuickBooks at work - I was thinking about using GNU cash, for the OpenSourceness of it, but I'm not sure it's what I need.

    Has anyone used / heard of / chosen not to use GNU cash?

    Quickbooks is good.

    I prefer quicken.

    I've never heard of GNU cash.

    GNU cash is a free, open source account program - it does double-entry accounting but I think it is geared for personal accounting.
