Has Gmail been really slow for you guys lately? I check the email's I want deleted and press delete and it does nothing. Anyone else experiencing this?

I just checked mine and all seem ok at the moment. I have noticed it in the past though, but I assumed they were either really busy or doing backups or upgrades etc...
From what I recall it only lasted a day or two.

    Cheers
    James

I have been at home ill today - gmail has been fine all day. (Am in the UK).

A number of other (unrelated) sites have seemed slower than usual though. Someone tampering with undersea cables again??? :p

Yes I experienced this as well. I checked my mail, then deleted three of them. Later when I checked again, It's still there and the status show unreaded but I've already read all of them.

Possible server problem or doing some upgrading. I just tried it again and it worked this time around.

My GMail POP3 has been going slow for the last day or so, but I don't use the web interface, so I don't know if that's having issues...
