Gmail vs. Hotmail?

I've been using hotmail for years now and I have not gotten one single spam email but I'm thinking about switching over to Gmail, what do you think is better?

I recently got a email about microsoft launching a new version of windows live could that better than gmail?

 

I've tried a couple of the email programs and I personally like gmail. I've had it for a while now and it hasn't failed me yet.

 

I use both, but I like gmail better because of the storage and I think its spam filters are better. Also gmail has the chatting system which is useful

 

i used both and gmail is the best email so far that I have used, their storage increases everyday and the spam filter is extremely powerful.

 

well the main thing I need is that does gmail work with contact forms?(meaning if i setup a php, asp contact form it will send the email to me) I've tried hotmail in contact forms and I never get the email

 

gmail is the one I prefer. its a matter of preference.

 

I didn't yet tried Hotmail. I'm very comfortable with Gmail.

 

Gmail is fast and the autoresponder is OK as well.. I prefer using it..

 

I prefer using Gmail. It's fast, storage are huge and the spam filter is good.

 

ALWAYS Gmail. Great storage (never have to delete a single message - desptie over 130,000 emails) plus EXCELLENT spam filters.

 

User Friendly and comfortable with all the setting, Gmail is the Best,I think No one can Beat to Gmail.

Gmail Team has improved more Features and they are trying to serve Good services for Gmail lovely users.

I use both of them. I will say gmail is slightly better then hotmail in spam mail controlling

 

Use the google spam filter utility. I think google is the best on. I used hotmail but gmail is the best according to me so I am using my email account on gmail since more than 1 year.

 

Gmail is best til you don't use your email id in social group or any news letter . After that they will eat up your mail box .

 

I personally have tried Hotmail, Yahoo mail and Gmail and I found Gmail to be the best in everything, especially in blocking spam emails.

 

Managing Mails in Hotmail is gr8 i like that, i prefer both acc to my needs

 

I haven't used hotmail in many years so I can't really make a fair judgement, but I have a ton of gmail accounts and IMHO its the best free email service out there.

 

I've got hotmail and gmail accounts and a mail.com account. I love the mail.com account
because you can really personalize the email address. Great for signing up where hotmail/gmail email addresses are considered too spammy.

 

i like Gmail, their spam control is good also the space is enough for all my mails.

I have hotmail too , its fine but loads slow.

 

Sometime I receive SPAMs in Gmail, but never in Hotmail. Hotmail is great for me. I don't like gmail interface
