Firstly, I was willing to know the popularity of gmail in DP . Now I have realized that it is the most famous email server of all webmasters so now let us have some tips. I am very new with this so I want to have more knowledge about it. Moreover, I just know the basics of it. Like you cannot send more then 20 MB in a single mail and letter should not more than 73 or like that. If there is some real “gmail master†then he should share his knowledge with us.
A great tool of gmail is I think DRAFT You can save your emails (with attachments) and can send later.
Here's a quick tip inspired by "garfalk" for you Mac users out there.... Gmail's Mac key combinations are almost the same for the Mac as for the PC with a couple exceptions. "Shift" clicking on the beginning and at the end will "select all". "Command" or "Apple" (same key) clicking will select items one at a time, allowing you to skip some. Also, "Command" + s will Save a draft. Those who tend to be "keyboard-centric" may find this helpful in reducing mouse grabs and clicks.
Yahoo mail has sam feature and I am sill using Yahoo. The only reasons i like gmail is its multi language asupport and downloading all attachment as one ZIP file.
I use drafts to save my attachements (files) when I forget my USB. I save files from office and downloads them at home
Almost everything is good except that I want them to introduce "save to folder" the way yahoo has. The folder option that gmail has, does not clean the main inbox.
I like this feature- the chat show up as a new in the inbox, and you can track all chat history that you've with someone through google talk.
I like 'Add Star' features to tick mark all important mails there though its similar to yahoo's 'Flag for Follow Up'
folders are good, you make folders for paypal, hosting, friends, family, work, and so on, then just send your mail to them by using the dropdown and click archive, then done, drafts is good for storing files that you need when you are away from home, and you can use gmail to store images as a server if you really want to, just make sure it is an account thats not your main one and be sure you know what you are doing.
sorry but my fav is still hotmail and always be hotmail. I don't need the big space and I never have anyproblems with spam either.
