Gmail Themes - New Look Options

I hope you two guys/gals aren't programmers because your logic skills suck.

Just because it's not the deciding factor in why YOU don't see it, doesn't mean that it's not a factor being used to weed out a huge group of people in the beginning of the equation.

If you use the web interface mostly, and still don't see it, you're probably in a region that they haven't rolled it out to, or getting content from a server they've not rolled it out to, or you were assigned an odd number when even numbers get it, or your name starts with M when they've only rolled iut out to A-L, or any number of other factors Google engineers thought up to segment the potential audience.

Google can't just roll it out to XXX million people at one time, they have to roll it out gradually using factors that will increase the number of users in small enough increments.

The most logical factor for Google to start with to weed out people who will probably not even use it, is whether or not their account uses mostly Web or POP access.

 

Same here, Maybe its depends on what browser were using..

 

I think they haven't implemented it in all accounts. I can find themes in my gmail account but its still not activated in my sister's account.

 

Google says it may take a couple more days for all the accounts to update.
Just go to Settings and you should be able to change it.

I like ALL their themes, they all are superb.

I am changing my theme every after few hours lol

 

Themes are showing up in IE but bot Firefox on my account.

 

Same here just now logged in and got those themes option.

 

the above is CORRECT as today it rolled to me...anyhow, i returned to classic theme as others too ugly...

Gmail has a new look!
When I opened it this morning, all has been changed. The frontpage is a little dark, don't like it very much. The themes are not too much, pretty lovely but too common ones... Do you think so?

 

I went back to the default one.

 

How did you do it? Choose the old version option?

I do agree I am conditioned to the old things...

 

I am using the Planet theme. I think we should try different theme every day. I really liked this feature.

 

I like new look very much. It's amazing for me I was bored from the old one. haha

I changed my theme as well, I definitely prefer these new themes over the old look. I wonder how long it will be until they allow people with Google Apps email addresses to change?
