gmail spam...getting more annoyuing

Is anyone else but me started to get major spam in there normal email folder?

I get the same sorta thing all the time now and i report it as spam yet next day even an hour later i have another 8 of the same!!

 

I guess I've been very lucky never to have a single spam to my gmail account. Nor has my girlfriend. But then, perhaps we don't have very "guessable" usernames.

Shame to hear about SPAM problems.

 

I too have the same problem with one of my gmail account. Surprisingly I have been very lucky never to have a single spam to my second gmail account.

 

One single error and then you must change your email.

Even they make me spam by filling a contact form on my site. It really annonying!

 

I recently recieved some emails from a directory I submitted to but that was an error . The system was sending emails to all members from emails of other users .

You say that you are blocking them . Are you blocking EMAIL ID's or adding some words to your spam list ?
Cause they can change emails and send the same message .

most of my spam hits my spam folder thankfully.

 

I use my gmail account for posting to usenet. Took longer than I thought for the email address to be picked up. Now the spam is pouring in. lol

 

I get very little spam on my Gmail, and fortunately the Spam folder manages to catch most of them.
