I think I'm signed up to EVERYBODY'S list. I get hundreds of emails a day. I don't have time to read them all, of course...but I don't want to delete them because there is valuable information in some of them. I love that Gmail has so much storage; I can archive until the cows come home and I still won't fill up all the space. :D

It was only time. It will certainly become unlimited eventually.

It's easy to fill up. I have 7 emails routing through my GMail account and if I actually archived my emails it would easily be over a few GB :D

You are currently using 151 MB (3%) of your 5009 MB.

Well i have a long way to go i guess, i have an idea though, pipe all the spam to a folder and keep them ;) then i'll reach the limit in no time

However we're still short of the true 5GB, its only still 5GB in the hard drive world i guess

Gmail seems to be way behind Yahoo! Mail.

    Which has no limit. ;)

You can make it a virtual hard drive under Windows.

No, actually its their marketing slogan what actually they have found out is that more than 95% users don't use any significant space so they should not put any limitation at all to gain more popularity among folks.

yeah i know...Its something like "overselling" in terms of web hosting. Many web hosting companies give out 'unlimited' space and 'unmetered; bandwidth as they know 95% of their users will only about 1% of the resources.

But I'm sure in Yahoo's TOS, its written sumwhere that they can terminate your account anytime or something like - you can't use it for file storage...etc.etc..
