Gmail Problem

I am getting lots of spam from my own email id ...I can't filter my own address as i do send mails to myself for backup purpose what i can do to prevent it

 

I think some one else has your email id.

 

I used to get some spam mails too, but it is down control for now.

 

I am receiving the emails from my email address but they are directly delivering in spam folder so I do not worry about it.

What exactly do you mean you are getting spam from your own email. Try changing ur password and other things to make ur email more secure.

 

It could be that someone has spoofed your address and is using it to send spam. Are the emails actual spam or "bounced" undeliverable messages?
