GMail Password Reset

    I just recieved this email from google for password resetting on my alternate yahoo email address. And its not a spam, as i visited the link and it is pointing towards google only, did anyone else received this email or somebody tried to reset my password ?

    According to my knowledge google doesnt send such mails. I had received a couple of them but they were treated as spam by GMAIL. So I suppose they are spam mails. Do not follow any links from such mails and if you have questions then send them to GMAIL. They can be your best guide in such situations.

    Yep. If Google wanted you to do this they would have contacted you via your Gmail anyways, but I have never heard of them asking anyone to do this before. I hope you did not do it. If you did it is best if you really go and reset your password to something new now or you may live to regret this.

    yes, someone is looking to reset your password. :) If that is the case, doing nothing will not reset your password. Be careful on following the link though (if you want to reset you password for no reason) especially if it was not you who requested that.
