gmail - new accounts require a sms actiovation code

    is this one a new thing? just encountered it for the first time.

    I reckon this is going rightfully to piss off many people.

    anyone else had seen it too?

    you can use another computer to register a new gmail account, it works.

    Yesterday i created my Gmail account no . 100xxx (forget the count) but no activation code for requested !
    Maybe this is regional or IP issue.

    Every time I created a fake account with bogus info I had to do SMS activation.

    It doesn't happen every time, only if Google suspects you're only creating gmail accounts for spam purposes.

    Hi,
    zenalisha here, u r right google need a sms activation code for any new gmail a/c. this is for authentication process and i think when u will use different ip for ur different a/c then u will get out of this problem.
