my friends are desperate to grab some new gmail accounts

i havent recieved any inivitations in my inbox and i am eagerly waiting for them to gift it to my friends

but i have been using my inbox for 3 weeks but havent found a single invite
i have heard of other gmail users recieving 6 inivites per week

how about that
where are my inivites

My invites have stopped coming to me. I don't think google want's more users right now. Maybe I'm wrong too though.

 

We've been giving away free gmail invites (to basically the fastest clicker) at the powder2glass google compute page, but we haven't seen any new invites in at least two weeks, so I wonder if they have shut them off - we're still giving 'em away (since we had a bunch stored up), but we're whittling away on 'em.

 

Anyone having issues with Gmail today? It has been very erratic for me..

 

I just checked, and working for me on Comcast Cable in Colorado. I did notice the night before last that it was flat-out unavailable for 10-15 minutes ... nice thing was that it actually told you that.

 

mine has been ok today. but i do get random issues every now and then. but it is beta.

 

hey guys, I found this thread looking on google by searching "gmail launch" so the question of the day? does anyone have a dusty invite layin around? It would be much appreciated.

 

Does anyone know how many invites and how frequently they are allocated?

So far I have only been given one batch of 10 which have all been given away.

 

Does anyone have an invite that they would like to give away and help out a poor mississippi guy?

Well I still haven't got any new invites, I wonder if things are slowing up or if they are going to launch it soon?

 

My friend and I have a couple of accounts and after giving 'em away almost daily at our google toolbar page, we're almost out ... but we haven't recieved any new invites between us in over 3 weeks.

 

My friend, who i gave an invite to, said he got some just last week or so. I haven't gotten any in a long time. But I still have a few.
