    Does anyone know what you need to do to be able to give out invites?

    I've had my account for a weeks or so but when I click the "invite a friend" link nothing happens :confused:

    Sign up at Blogger.com and you'll eventually see a link for a GMail account. They are becoming more and more common as they phase them in.

    If anyone has an extra invite, I would REALLY appreciate them letting me have it. I have heard a lot about GMail and saw it over the weekend. It looks great and I would love to get on board early so that I can grab ny name for an account (it's alot more popular name than you would think!). Thanks again!

    I think it may be the browser. I'm at work and stuck with IE 5.5 :(

    When I get home I'll try from a PC that's not 5 years (slight exaggeration) behind :D

    I have read that if your current email is either Hotmail or Yahoo notification that you have been invited to join Gmail is being rejected by those services.

    I have had a Server Error logging into gmail all day and haven't been able to access my email for a day.
