Gmail issue with POP3 email

I use my gmail account to download and check my pop3 email accounts. The past two days, Gmail has had intermittent problems connecting to my email accounts:

Anyone else having that issue?

Any idea if it is a Gmail issue or a hosting server issue?

 

Gmail is working just fine on both my desktop and IPhone as always

 

Do you use Gmail to check other (pop3) email accounts?

Once again set your > gmail.com > setting > pop3 setting, i have same problem but now perfect ..

Reset what settings?

I checked the pop3 server, username, password, etc. They are fine. Besides which, the problem is intermittent, so I doubt it is a setting.

 

Which one you are using Microsoft Outlook or Thunderbird for POP3 Access.

 

Go to your gmail setting, there is an option to trun on pop3 support.
The default setting doesn't support pop3.
That means you can use email client like foxmail , outlook .
Just turn on the option, it will work fine.

 

open Gamil.com
go on setting >
Go on Forwading and POP/IMAP Tab >
once Enable POP for all mail > if this is already enable .. do once again
then Save changes.

 

i use gmail to fetch messages from few other mail server over pop3 and then
i download with my opera all that from gmail over pop3.

everything work great. no problems at all.

The issue is not using pop to download emails from Gmail. The issue is using Gmail to download emails from other pop accounts. The issue is with the mail fetcher, not the POP settings.

After doing some research, this is an issue many of us are having. I guess we just have to wait for Google to fix it.
