I can still access every Google services including Gmail, Adsense, Adword, Webmaster Tools from here without any issue. I do not think they would be easily to be penetrated. Most of hacked accounts are because of their own hands. If you logged on your account via public Wifi / untrusted networks then the risk of your packet would be tapped is high. Otherwise when someone use public pc connect their account and forget to log out after used.
Yeah, they cannot ever get into Google. Google pays and hires known hackers to defend and secure their sites... OpenDNS got hacked and that was nothing....
Absolutely not. No one can hack gmail. Bangladeshi hackers just did something with DNS that may redirecting all pages to their deface page. They can't access your e-mail ID database.
This is my own experience, last month I got notification by google that my gmail was accessed from China, at first I didn't pay much attention to it because I can still access my account and I don't see any changes, but when I saw my sent mail folder I saw a lot of spam mails sent to nearly everyone on my contact list, I quickly changed my password and send notification mails to everyone on my contact list to ignore the email sent by that b****rd, that's the only thing I can think of that time.
I don't use any open public wifi, with programs like firesheep the script kiddies are having a field day.
