    Yes, The problem was with your isp. Somehow they lost connection with gmail. Routing problems.. Sometimes I faced such issues with facebook.

    Yeah that is what I noticed too. There is several server is down notification when its firefox but if its internet explorer then there is no problem with it. By the way gmail is fine here now.
