Yahoo webmail is a lot better because you can use html in your signatures.

Yahoo mail because I dont like when gmail merge your emails as conversations and I can't even switch this feature off.

Gmail is much better, though I have been a long time Yahoo fan.

    Yahoo Gripes:
    - You are not taken directly to the inbox when you log in
    - You have to log in to get to the inbox as a security measure (not configurable) I would like it to remember me.
    - Slow loading time
    - Have to pay to POP from it

    Google Gripes
    - No way to have a non-threaded view (does a delete of one of the messages delete my whole thread? -what if it guessed wrong on a thread)
    - Inviting people is really wierd - it invites them through email or cell phone. Why can't they just sign up?

I do prefer google and love how they have forced yahoo to become better.

I use both yahoo and gmail but for different uses. I use yahoomail to login the forum like DP and other informal business. I use gmail for formal business and friend. but quite dissappointed with gmail to use html code for signature :(

    It's no competition. Gmail wins!

    Gmail is...

Fast - no annoying banner ads.

Secure - Gmail blocks the sending/receiving of executable attachments (even if they're zipped). Gmail also uses advanced spam filtering and a multi-engine approach for virus scanning.

Useful - With some browser extensions you can use Gmail as a server to store your files.
