Gmail = Increase of spam????

I am wondering whether there is an overall increase of spam in gmail. Yesterday I must have had about 50 spam messages when normally it is around 2 or 3 a day.

 

Its not GMail's fault. Its just that SPAM Bots got hold of your email. I haven't received a single spam email since yesterday. I get about 5-10 a week.

 

Yes, I get more spam in gmail than that of what I get in yahoo.

 

Nope, I am not experiencing that. I guess it does not affect everyone.

 

I haven't experienced a jump in spam to my Gmail account. I get 1 a day, if that.

 

ic, not sure what happened, but I must have submitted to some directory selling my email addy. Unfortunately I used my regular email addy and not

(catchall) as I normally do

 

My Gmail works fine
I get 5-8 Spam Mails in my Gmail daily
may be you register in too many Porn sites =))

 

i get 5 to 9 in one day but all go to the spam folder anyway so i don't bother

 

I usually get 2 weekly, but in my spam box there is over 2k lol.

I have in my Gmail about 400-600 spam emails all the time, they are deleting automaticly after 30 days - this means about 15-20 spam emails daily.

 

Spam was on usual yesterday.. probably it was your email got picked my some master bot

 

I am not experiencing anything like that ... My gmail getting a normal spam emails as usual

but it should be ok right since I report the spam and there must be others doing it as well.

 

there no spam in my gmail... spam bot will search email on blog or content page...the spam bot will search any word with @ . avoid writing email with @... change it with [at]. people understand that... .. avoid writing your email anyway.. and also must avoid with porn site.. hahahha..

 

I do that too, and most spam goes straight to my spam folder.

 

I have email accounts with gmail, yahoo and aol.

Aol is by far the worst

my gmail isn't too bad, one or two a day and 95% of those go to my spam folder

 

Everything is normal for me. Anyway, I have added anti-spam filter and so far it works well.

 

Yes there is alot of spam but it goes directly into the spam folder in both yahoo and gmail. Hotmail sucks big time, 90% of the mail i get in my hotmail box is spam. I dont even check it anymore.

 

Yes, I am also seeing slight increase of spam in inbox, although I receive around 100+ spam in spam box.

 

I get the usual amount daily (30-50 emails daily), but more and more obviously spammy email creep into my inbox.
