I use Gmail as my main tool for my business email accounts. Domain-specific email address, and my business address are all forwarded to one gmail address, allowing me to get every message related to my business efforts in one place. I also have reply addresses configured in Gmail so that all replies I send from it appear to be from the same address the original message was sent to, instead of coming from the gmail address they are not familiar with.

I also have the gmail app installed on my mobile phone so all this functionality follows me where ever I go.

I am very happy with Gmail.

I have both Gmail and Yahoo mail. But I NEED to use Gmail (especially in my working day) for the following reasons:

    • Rarely I lost emails (If don't want to say the word "never" until 6 years using it). I have received all the emails I need to receive, or I know that are sent to me.
    • I receive emails fast. Also I don't need to press F5 sometimes because it automatically do that for me.
    • The way they organize email is great. Simple, neat and easy to use.

Yes, I HAVE TO love Gmail for those reasons above :)

Gmail is one of the best free emailing services on the web. Some of the best things about Gmail:
    1. Ever increasing inbox size
    2. Secured than most other mailing services
    3. Simple interface
    4. Fast load time
    5. Auto refresh

Yeah i agree, the changing DNS servers effects laptops and computers when put into hibernate - which is very annoying and overall routing your email through gmail is just plain stupid especially when you have your own servers to use. Gmail is no more reliable than a billion dollar donkey sucking information from a data rich vampire.

    Hi, Pierre.

In GMail, just go to Settings -> Accounts and Import -> Send Mail As

You can set up as many mail-from addresses as you like. You also have the option of sending these message through Google's servers or through your ISP.

If you choose the Google option, your message's FROM field will show something like "From Pierre @ gmail on behalf of Pierre @ owndomain.com"

But if you set it up to send through your own ISP, the recipient will see no clues that you sent it through Gmail.
