Yeah, it's in Beta stages right now. They're starting off with a school to test the webmail system and then they will start taking other applicants. It's about time they did this -- I had hoped for this from the start.

Google will use my adsense code in all those emails off my domain, I would jump on this in a minute!
    Or less...

A friend of mine submitted to the beta. He has pretty nice traffic (about 60.000 uniques a week).

If he gets accepted, i'll tell more :)

I got invited to join the beta program and initially *jumped at the chance to take part, however, I decided not to while filling in the necessary details. My first thought was 'What if the users decide to abuse the email addresses'?

The domain wasn't an organisation as such and I was concerned about offering a free-pass to the domain-email.

Maybe a bit over-cautious but I'll wait to see how it pans out for the time being.

mcfox, I have similar reservations. I guess I am not ready to apply for this yet. Plus, I am not sure what is it in that for me, besides users flocking in to get a freebie email address with my domain.
