gmail doesn't work..

I have a problem with logging into gmail with one of my laptops:

    I get this error:
    Google
    Error

    Server Error
The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request.
Please try again in 30 seconds.

However, when I login to my other laptop it works fine.. (they're both using different internet connections)

Would this be a browser or connection error?

I just checked and it worked fine for me. It must be a computer problem. Try shutting down and rebooting. It could also be a setting if you are using IE. The last automatic update I got for IE messed up my settings and blocked some of my pages from loading. I had to reset the security settings.

Yea it sounds like it. I can't tell you about wireless connection because I am still in Dial-Up hell. I guess you just have to wait a few hours and try again.

clear history, cookies and the usual stuff, i would also make sure you only connect with one pc at a time, maybe google has something that blocks connections from 2 different ip#s at the same time. try with both IE and FF

i remember i had a problem like that a few times over the last 2-3 years with gmail, so i know that fixes it. you dont get the red top right "loading" image and then that page about try again in 30 seconds, i just clear everything and it works after that.
    glad to help. ;)

Its a browser error. Try on a different browser and see what happens. If you get the same error, then theres is something wrong with your connection or connection settings.

A few minutes ago it didn't work in Firefox, Opera and IE. Works in all three now. POP3 is working too and so is Google Talk.
