Gmail currently SPAMMED to death?

am getting almost 20 emails at each refresh. All SPAM obiously. Anyone else facing this issue? Looks like Gmail is spammed to death.

 

Yeah I've had it for a while... 8,900+ in my Spam folder at the moment. I used to go through it daily or every other day just to see if something legit went in there but now it's just been out of control.

 

It was just massive right now. Had to mark spam on about 200 emails within mins. Whoa.

 

I get around 7 spam e-mail in about 2-3 minutes. It's just ridiculous..

 

Yeah google should go something about Gmail, one problem we encounter is that we can't send mails (Mailer Daemon) and included here...

So now even gmail is not safe from spammers I checked mine today and found 3 spams for the very first time..
