GMail Chat Removed

Looks like Google are making changes to GMail, and have removed the chat.

Look at your messages, then click 'More Options'. It now shows:

From: Someone
To: you
Date: 16 Apr 2008 21:17
Subject: Some Subject
Reply | Reply to all | Forward | Print | Add sender to Contacts list | Delete this message | Report phishing | Show original | Message text garbled?

Some improvements by Google?

 

I can use Gmail chat here - with no problems. Messages are sent to your inbox if the person whom you're chatting to messages you after you go offline.

 

But i can still see the chat option. What url did u use exactly?

 

Log out, then log back in again.

That is really strange because chat window is work as usual.

Try opening it on some different browser

 

...yes, the same thing happen to my Gmail yesterday, but the chat show up late in the day and it is working fine.

 

Check gmail settings and make sure chat is not turned off.

 

Gmail Chat's working fine for me. Maybe there was just a tiny glitch yesterday when they announced that Google's hiring! (See the front page of your Gmail login area)

 

I haven't experienced any problem with gchat even when I checked yesterday. I guess not everyone experienced this type of problem?
