Gmail cannot receive email

I have no problem with receiving email from gmail, but just now, i can not use my email software to receive email now. but i can log in the gmail from the web. it seems that the smtp server do not working.
anyone has the same problem?
hope it will fixed soon.

NO, i can receive other email without any problem. Can you receive gmail with your software now? what the stmp server do you use? i am tried:
smtp.gmail.com
and
smtp.googlemail.com
both of them do not work.

 

Restart your computer. I had that problem a few days ago. Probably another microsoft flaw, or the pop3 server was down. Did you install a new firewall?

 

are you using outlook? or thunderbird?

i think it's related your computer.

i have problem with my gmail like you mention

 

delete your locate account and create it again. your profile might have been corrupted.

 

did you install or update your firewall recently...do you have authentication turned on? check your settings again

 

Google is not the best,i would like go with yahoo mail.Sometime i just cannot log in gmail.

 

I think you should restart you computer or re-install your software. then try. if theres problems now then i think your software copy is corrupted. IMPOSSIBLE
